Services

Everything between the server room and the roadmap.

Four areas that cover where your organisation is now and where it goes next. Take one, or let us run them together as a single managed service.

01 · Hosting & maintenance

Cloud or on-premises: platforms that stay up, patched and backed up.

We host and operate your websites, applications and business systems, in the public cloud, in our managed hosting, or on servers in your own building. Whichever fits, we take care of the unglamorous work that keeps them healthy: monitoring, updates, backups and incident response.

Who it is for

  • Organisations without a dedicated operations team.
  • Companies for whom downtime is not an option.
  • Organisations that must keep certain systems on-premises, for compliance or latency.
  • Teams that want one phone number when something breaks.

What you get

  • Cloud hosting (AWS, Microsoft, OVHcloud) or on-premises infrastructure, sized to your real load.
  • Monitoring, security updates and tested backups.
  • On-site hardware maintenance for on-premises servers and network equipment.
  • A maintenance agreement with clear response times.
Good to knowCloud or on-premises? Usually the workload decides.

When cloud fits

  • Workloads that grow, shrink or spike, where paying for capacity on demand beats owning it.
  • Teams spread across offices and home, who need the same workplace from anywhere.
  • Customer-facing web platforms that must scale and stay reachable worldwide.
  • Organisations that would rather not own, house and replace hardware.
  • Projects with a short time to market, where infrastructure must exist next week.

When on-premises fits

  • Data that must stay inside your own walls for regulatory or contractual reasons.
  • Systems that cannot tolerate latency or an internet outage: production lines, points of sale, lab equipment.
  • Existing servers and licences that still have years of useful life in them.
  • Sites with limited or unreliable connectivity.
  • Stable, predictable workloads where owning is simply cheaper over the life of the hardware.

Most organisations end up with a mix. We design, run and maintain hybrid setups where some systems live in the cloud and others stay on site, with one team responsible for both.

02 · Secure virtual workplaces

A secure virtual workplace for firms that handle sensitive data.

Accountants, social secretariats and similar firms work with payroll, tax and personal data every day. We set up and run virtual desktop and server environments that keep that data centralised, backed up and accessible from any office or home.

Who it is for

  • Accounting and audit firms.
  • Social secretariats and payroll providers.
  • Any multi-site organisation that needs one controlled environment.

What you get

  • Virtual desktops and servers with your business software installed.
  • Access control, encryption and backup designed for confidential data.
  • Migration from your current setup, with minimal downtime.
How it worksFrom your current setup to a secure virtual workplace in four steps.

A migration is planned around your accounting calendar or payroll runs, never in the middle of a closing period.

  1. 01

    Assess

We inventory your applications, users, data volumes and the devices people work on, and agree what must stay exactly as it is.

  2. 02

    Design

We draw the environment: virtual desktops and servers, access rules per role, backup and recovery, and where the data physically lives.

  3. 03

    Migrate

A pilot group moves first, we fix what they find, then everyone else follows, outside office hours and with a tested way back.

  4. 04

    Operate

From go-live we monitor, patch and back up the environment, onboard new staff and remain your single point of contact.

Typical lead time from first assessment to full migration is a few weeks for a small firm and a few months for a multi-site organisation. We give you a dated plan before anything moves.

03 · Development & branding

Software and digital brands built around your organisation.

When an off-the-shelf tool does not fit, we design and build what does: websites, web and business applications, and integrations between systems. When the project needs a visual identity as well, we design that too, so the brand and the software are made to match.

Who it is for

  • Enterprises with a specific project and a deadline.
  • Organisations launching or refreshing a brand online.
  • Teams that need two systems to finally talk to each other.

What you get

  • Scoping, design and development by one team.
  • Code and assets you own outright.
  • Hosting and maintenance after launch, if you want it.
How it worksFrom first brief to a fully delivered digital brand in four steps.

Whether it is a complete brand and website or a single business application, the path is the same and you see progress at every step.

  1. 01

    Discover

We sit down with you to understand the goal, the audience, what already exists and what must change. You get a written summary of what we heard.

  2. 02

    Define

We propose the identity direction or the application architecture, the scope, the timeline and a fixed price. Nothing is built before you have signed off on this.

  3. 03

    Build

Design and development run in short cycles. Every two weeks you see working results and can redirect while it is still cheap to do so.

  4. 04

    Launch & grow

We go live, hand over source files, assets and documentation, train your team, and stay on for hosting, maintenance and the next iteration if you want us to.

You own everything we produce: code, design files, brand assets and accounts. Nothing is locked to Rakami.

04 · IT consulting

Senior advice, for two weeks or two years.

Sometimes you need an outside view before a decision; sometimes you need a senior IT partner alongside your team for the long run. We do both, and we tell you which one you need.

Short-term missions

  • Infrastructure and security audits.
  • Vendor and technology selection.
  • Migration and project planning.

Long-term partnership

  • An external IT lead for organisations without one.
  • A multi-year roadmap and budget you can defend.
  • Regular reviews with your management.
How it worksWhat an engagement looks like, short or long.

Both formats start the same way; they differ in what happens after the recommendation.

  1. 01

    Intake

A first conversation to understand the question behind the question, who is involved and what a good outcome looks like for your organisation.

  2. 02

    Diagnosis

We look at the actual systems, contracts, costs and risks, and speak to the people who use them. Facts first, opinions second.

  3. 03

    Recommendation

A written, plain-language recommendation with options, trade-offs and a budget your management can decide on. For a short mission, this is the deliverable.

  4. 04

    Follow-through

For a long-term partnership we stay on as your external IT lead: we execute the plan with you, review progress with management each quarter and adjust the roadmap as the business changes.

A short mission is scoped in days or weeks and billed as a fixed project. A long-term partnership is a retainer with an agreed monthly rhythm and a notice period, never a lock-in. We resell some of the products we may recommend, and we say so whenever that is the case.

Describe where you are now. We will suggest the next step.

Most clients come to us with a symptom, not a service name. That is fine.
